The Griffin Technology RoadTrip FM Transmitter and Auto Charger and Cradle for iPod combines a high-powered FM transmitter, an iPod auto charger, and a convenient iPod cradle in one package. The Griffin RoadTrip FM Transmitter & Auto Charger plugs into any power outlet or lighter adapter and provides an adjustable cradle for any docking iPod. Once your iPod is charged and docked, the Griffin RoadTrip FM Transmitter broadcasts your iPod's music to any FM frequency from 88.1 to 107.9. The backlit screen shows which frequency is currently broadcasting, while buttons located directly on the front of the unit allow for easy adjustments.

The removable transmitter can also broadcast music from Macs or PCs through a combination USB power and audio connector cable that attaches any USB equipped computer to the module. Then, just play your iTunes music, movie audio, or presentation sound on any FM stereo that's close by.

iPod Compatibility
iPod nano 1st Generation (1G), iPod mini, iPod 3rd Generation (3G), iPod 4th Generation (4G / Clickwheel), iPod Color, iPod 5th Generation (5G/5.5G w/Video - basically, all "docking" iPods). Note that the RoadTrip is also compatible with 2nd Generation (2G & 3rd Generation (3G) iPod nano models if you pick up an adapter available FREE (plus $3 shipping) from the Griffin web site via this link (click the green "buy now" link once there to see the free adapters. This is not compatible with old iPods with FireWire ports on top (1st and 2nd gen of the original iPod from years ago). It doesn't work with the original iPod Video.

Though like new, this item does not included a retail box. This product has been repackaged by Griffin into a zippered plastic pouch.
