regarding UVC (Universal Video Class) devices on the logitech web site. Software based features of this webcam (such as the video effects / avatars) are not available for mac. However, you will be able to use Mac programs such as iChat w/iChatUSBCam, Mercury (Java MSN Client), Stickam.com, Skype, aMSN, QuickTime Pro, and many others.
